Colombian President Alvaro Uribe accused of being a lackey of George W. Bush

Lima, Mar 4 (Prensa Latina) Colombian President Alvaro Uribe was accused Tuesday in Peru of being a lackey of US President George W. Bush for ordering a military raid into Ecuadorian territory.

Journalist Cesar Levano gave him that name in his daily column in La Primera newspaper, claiming the attack was a desperate gesture by Washington and its puppet, fascist Alvaro Uribe.

Uribe's cynicism follows a path in which his private and family links with drug trafficking can not be forgotten, his support to criminal paramilitaries and drug-traffickers, the journalist noted. He added that the Colombian leader acted with cynicism by calling himself a democrat, while his regime has allowed 936 extra judicial executions, 211 unnatural disappearances and murdered over 400 trade union leaders over the last five years.

Uribe lied when he said that he acted in self-defense when he really cowardly killed Colombian guerrillas' men who were sleeping in an temporary camp.

The attack is a maneuver against the peace process in Colombia; Bush is more important for Uribe than Ingrid Betancourt, noted the journalist.
