Belarus to help Venezuela to build anti-aircraft defense system

Belarus will help Venezuela to create an anti-aircraft defense system and electronic warfare support, Belarusian deputy chief-of-general-staff Pyotr Tikhonovsky said. 'We plan during a six-year period to supply to Venezuela with an anti-aircraft defense system and train their commanders,' Tikhonovsky said in the parliament in terms of discussion of such a Belarus-Venezuela agreement in Minsk. This year, Belarus will send 10 military advisers to Venezuela, and then the number of military advisers will increase, he said.
