US should be at the top of the list of the terrorist countries

ABN.- During a press conference at the Miraflores Presidential Palace, the Venezuelan President made reference to the repeated attacks of that country against Venezuela, as part of the empire's plan.

He reminded that United States' infiltrated agents, who kidnapped Cuba's airplanes as part of the permanent plans of USA against progressive governments, are part of the fifth column.

Chávez also mentioned the threat about including Venezuela in the list of countries supporting the terrorism, which, according to Chávez, can not be underestimated.

“There is a North American congresswoman determined to do it, as well as the Republican candidate (John) McCain”, the Venezuelan President stated, who also said that the idea of including the country in that list would represent a sanction to Venezuela.

“That is what they are looking for and there are people in here supporting it”, he said.

According to Chávez, there are rumors saying that this Senator could be McCain's candidate for United States' Vice-presidency, which means that this threat against Venezuela could be one of the objectives of the Republican candidate's foreign policy.

“As this congresswoman has said, Mister Chávez needs us more than we need him. You are totally wrong, lady. Without Venezuelan oil the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) would be 10 points less, which would emphasize the economic crisis of that country. That lady does not what she is talking about”, he added.

Likewise, he stated: “Now, their main weapon is the alleged Raúl Reyes' personal computer. A little group of Colombians taking part in that game, and the first of them is (Juan Manuel) Santos, the Minister of Defense of Colombia”.

Chávez warned that “if Colombia keeps that way, it would be isolated in the Continent. Progressive governments are losing their confidence on Colombia. Colombia's oligarchy has to understand what is going on in Latin America”.
