Caracas, Mar 24 (Prensa Latina) President Hugo Chavez visit to Brazil features in the Venezuelan political panorama in coming days as part of an agenda that also includes an international meeting against media terror.
When speaking at the Council of Ministers Sunday, Chavez highlighted he will meet with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Wednesday, and added the program also comprises exchanges with authorities from two Brazilian states.
Regarding that, he said "we are working hard, as Venezuela already feels like it is a member of the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR)." Referring to the Latin American meeting against media terror, Chavez noted it will be attended by journalists, analysts, academicians, writers, among others.
That forum, he affirmed, responds to the need of coping with an issue reflected in the use of TV and radio stations "to generate terror, try to incite wars, violence. It is not fair that happens so flagrantly and shamelessly," Chavez stressed.
