Globovision seeks to destabilize the Venezuelan governmentt

ABN.- Lattan took part at a program broadcast by the state-owned TV station Venezolana de Television and stated that “the manipulation in information used by some mass media attempt against the democratic institutionalism of our country.”

The Venezuelan Supreme Court of Justice sentenced that the right to freedom of expression and information are social rights, so it requested to carry out an audience in which they expect to judge Globovision by infringing human rights.

Lattan added that “Freedom of corporation cannot pass over the rights constitutionally given to the people.”

With regards to this matter, lawyer Mignnorys Martinez added up that if the court's sentence is favorable, one of the solution might be to hand over the media company to its workers and to guarantee that the supporters of the president of the Republic, Hugo Chávez Frías, also take part on the programs.

  1. Why are they driving themselves crazy?, They should know for a fact that the private sector can not take over or control of the state, it is illegal and illegitimate.

In the U.S. there are laws that could dismantle the private sector overnight without any question in case this sector is a threat to the constitution, the economy and its people.
This state is more powerful than its own government.

In Venezuela, the state is represented by its government, a government that enforce the security of the constitution, the well being of its citizens, sustains programs of solidarity, supports legitimate exchanging relations and cooperation with other nations based on equality.
