Colombian incursion violated human rights
Ecuador's Justice Minister Gustavo Jalkh, speaking to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, said Bogota's incursion on Ecuadorean territory violated the right to life and security of his country's people. He accused Colombia of attacking fundamental principles of peace and security.

You can see from this article that the CBC is in fact in the service of U.S. imperialism -- while still attempting to pretend to be fair & balanced. In this hypocrisy they continually try to emulate the equally odious BBC.
