U.S. reacts to Chavez troop movement
In Texas, where President Bush is staying at his ranch, National Security Council spokesman Gordon Johndroe finds Chavez's actions and statements perplexing. He says it's 'an odd reaction' by Venezuela's leader to Colombia's efforts against the leader of what the U.S. considers a terrorist organization. He says FARC continues to hold Colombians, Americans and others hostage. Chavez says the U.S. is the 'master' of what he calls the 'terrorist' state of Colombia. And he denies his country provides refuge to the guerrillas.

Here would be the place to point out that Associated Press not only engages in daily worldwide disinformation on behalf of imperialism; but AP actually plants completely false stories for the CIA. That's a long-proven fact that anyone should know by now. I've certainly seen it with my own eyes. And AP is just one of many propaganda outlets who willingly perform this function.
