Exxon: No Plans To Appeal U.K. Judge Ruling
Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) spokesman Alan Jeffers Tuesday said the oil giant has no plans at this time to appeal a decision by a U.K. judge canceling an order to freeze $12 billion in assets owned by Venezuelan state-owned oil company Petroleos de Venezuela SA, or PdVSA. Jeffers said the judge based his decision on jurisdictional issues, but didn't question Exxon Mobil's underlying claim.
