Venezuela's Navy Plans to Build Torpedoes, Mines
The Venezuelan navy said on its Web site it was developing a project to design and build heavy torpedoes for two submarines and lighter missiles for its frigates. Venezuela has bought Russian-built fighter jets and other weaponry in recent years to strengthen its armed forces.

The venezuelan state should take every opportunity to incorporate the latest russian, chinese, belorussian and other independent states' teknology into their own military and society ASAP. Besides that this will make the country stronger against imperialist intrigue, it will also provide jobs for engineering graduates of the universities, and broaden and diversify the ekonomy. The spinoff opportunities are tremendous, if not absolutely enormous.
ReplyDeleteAnd every attempt must be made to spread this out into an ALBA-wide undertaking, to help build up the independence and strength -- and the ekonomies -- of Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia, the caribbean ALBA members, and soon hopefully Ecuador and others.
Imperialism Beware. Do not tread on me.
