USA: Regressive leadership five to sixty years
I am deeply concerned about the widening pattern of U.S. aggression in Eastern Mediterranean States together with the Bush administration’s insane push to deploy missiles in Central Europe aimed East toward Russia and China and further threatening and destabilizing Central and Southwest Asia. This worrying march of regression, this backwardness in international relations (and with it neglect of domestic affairs) originates, in relatively recent times.

It's not so much that very leadership of the U.S. is insane, but that the people of the U.S. follow their leaders with blind faith.
ReplyDeleteAs for aiming their missiles towards China and Russia, they could well be outnumbered in that very field by those two countries. Who knows the U.S. could be on the receiving end of something that they never dreamed of, and which might well bring about the demise of the very U.S. itself.
It's okay to dig a grave, but beware that it does not become your own grave in the end. Fate might lead in a different direction, and ones hopes are dashed on the rocks of history.
The thing about a society in crisis, ruled by an elite which relies on a police state spreading fear, hysteria and ignorance, is that it is prone to making panicky, dead-end mistakes. And so you end up with world nuclear war and megadeath, as easy as 3... 2... 1... 0.
