PDVSA:No "Moral Pressure" To Abide By $12 Billion Asset Freeze
Petroleos de Venezuela SA, or PdVSA, won't feel any 'moral pressure' to abide by a U.K. court order freezing $12 billion of its assets, a lawyer for PdVSA told the U.K. court hearing a dispute between it and U.S. oil company ExxonMobil Corp. Thursday. '(PdVSA) won't necessarily feel a moral pressure to abide by (the freezing order)' Gordon Pollock, lead lawyer for PdVSA said in the commercial court of the Royal Court of Justice.
