VHeadline commentarist Oscar Heck writes: I haven't even read the article yet ... but as soon as I see anything with the word "rice" in it ... my mind goes into a whirlwind. The Reuters article is entitled "Rice urges Colombia and Venezuela to use diplomacy," and it begins with, "Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice called on Colombia and Venezuela on Thursday to settle a dispute over Colombian FARC rebels by diplomatic means after Caracas sent troops to their border.
'The United States stands strongly for the diplomatic resolution of these recent set of circumstances ... I do hope there will be a diplomatic outcome to this,' Rice told a news conference following a meeting of NATO foreign ministers."
It drives me almost insane to hear any of her words ...
Diplomatic? Is she out of her mind? What was so diplomatic about Afghanistan? About Iraq? About Guantanamo? About clandestine CIA interrogation centers? About Abu Graib and the torture? About the millions of innocent women and children murdered, slain, dismembered, maimed and found destitute after the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq (which hasn't ended yet!)?
There was no diplomacy, there is no diplomacy ... and she, Rice-from-a-Bush, has the gall to talk about diplomacy?
- If the Devil does exist, in my view, she would be the Devil's mother.
And the article goes on and on, regurgitating US State Department rhetoric ...
I know I am ranting and raving at the moment, with no intelligent point to make ... but I do wish that people out there will consider the fact that someone who backs the atrocities committed against innocent women and children in Iraq and Afghanistan will also consider what Rice-the-murderer says as seriously psychopathic. Like Elvis Costello says in his song, "Tramp the Dirt Down" (listen to it: 5 Stars, YouTube ... be patient ... there are many hits on this video):
"I never thought for a moment that human life could be so cheap 'Cos when they finally put you in the groundThey'll stand there laughing and tramp the dirt down"
Here are the lyrics to the entire song. The song will bring tears to your eyes. Just for that one song (from the album Spike), it is worth buying the CD.
Enjoy:
I saw a newspaper picture from the political campaign.
A woman was kissing a child, who was obviously in pain
She spills with compassion, as that young child'sface in her hands she grips
Can you imagine all that greed and avaricecoming down on that child's lipsWell I hope I don't die too soon
I pray the Lord my soul to save
Oh I'll be a good boy, I'm trying so hard to behave
Because there's one thing I know, I'd like to live
long enough to savor
That's when they finally put you in the ground
I'll stand on your grave and tramp the dirt downWhen England was the whore of the world
Margaret was her madam
And the future looked as bright and as clear asthe black tarmacadam
Well I hope that she sleeps well at night, isn't
haunted by every tiny detail
'Cos when she held that lovely face in her handsall she thought of was betrayalAnd now the cynical ones say that it all ends the same in the long run
Try telling that to the desperate father who just squeezed the life from his only son
And how it's only voices in your head and dreams you never dreamt
Try telling him the subtle difference between justice and contempt
Try telling me she isn't angry with this pitiful discontent
When they flaunt it in your face as you line up for punishment
And then expect you to say "Thank you" straighten up, look proud and pleased
Because you've only got the symptoms, you haven't got the whole disease
Just like a schoolboy, whose head's like a tin-can
filled up with dreams then poured down the drain
Try telling that to the boys on both sides, being blown to bits or beaten and maimed
Who takes all the glory and none of the shameWell I hope you live long now, I pray the Lord your soul to keep
I think I'll be going before we fold our arms and start to weep
I never thought for a moment that human life could be so cheap
'Cos when they finally put you in the ground
They'll stand there laughing and tramp the dirt down

The point that people should be getting here is that while this criminal-buffoon Condoleezza Rice is sneering-grinning her lies about "diplomacy" all over the TV screen (I don't watch TV so I don't get that shite, except over Internet video), in fact it was her government and military which instigated this criminal massacre on Ecuadoran territory in the first place -- and which is aiding the colombian mafia in their lies in the world media even now.
ReplyDeleteI mean, this isn't even good cop/bad cop here: it's simple criminal conspiracy and high crimes against Humanity. Condoleezza Rice must pay for her crimes. And this is one of them.
