13 people killed in bus accident in Venezuela
Thirteen people were killed and 14 others injured Sunday in a serious bus accident in middle Venezuela, said the local police. The accident occurred in the state of Anzoategui, when a long-distance passenger bus departing from the state of Guarico rolled over and caught fire after suddenly loosing control. A total of 13 passengers were killed at the scene of the accident. All the injured people were hospitalized, said the police. Investigation of the causes of the accident is underway. Speeding and slippery road could be possible reasons for the accident, according to the police.
