Miss Venezuela best in Vietnamese ao dai

With the golden body measurements of a model, Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza, 22, won the title Best in Ao dai at the Miss Universe 2008 pageant. The ao dai competition was held at the HCM City-based Hoa Binh Theatre on June 24. Over 80 contestants modelled four ao dai collections designed by Lien Huong, Thuan Viet, Sy Hoang and Vo Viet Chung. Five contestants were chosen for the final round: India, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Venezuela and Vietnam. Miss Venezuela, who is a model with Elite (85-58-89, 1.78m) won the Best in ao dai title with an ao dai designed by Vo Viet Chung. The ao dai competition ended the warm-up activities of Miss Universe contestants in HCM City. Today, June 25, they flew to the central city of Da Nang and then went on to the ancient city of Hoi An, where they will take photos at Ha My beach and participate in a procession of cyclos on Hoi An streets tonight.
