VHeadline Venezuela News reports: Confirming that a United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) extraordinary "One day's salary for the revolution" collection of financial resources for the November 23 electoral campaign has raised more than Bs.F 1,200,000 (US$559,000) PSUV candidate for mayor of Metropolitan Caracas, former Education Minister Aristobulo Isturiz has justified a threat "to burn alive" anyone who dares to attack President Hugo Chavez Frias.
Isturiz further qualified his "burn alive" statement, late Sunday, saying that "to burn people alive is NOT violent ... violent is to blow up the President in a plane!"
Earlier he had endorsed last week's summary extradition of Human Right Watch (HRW) director Jose Miguel Vivanco and justified the threats of "burn alive" those who dare to attack President Hugo Chavez. Isturiz insists that "to burn alive is NOT violent!"
"I do not assume that we have violent discourse ... I assume a reaction to a violent act ... nothing is more violent than an assassination and there is nothing more violent than international interference."
When reporters insisted if he really meant that to burn people alive is NOT violent, Isturiz retorted "Look, no, no ... what is violent is to blow up the President in an airplane ... everyone knows that we are talking about civilians, above and beyond the ex-militaries who are involved in an assassination plot."
"The 'December 2' (2D - protest movement) is directly involved in this assassination and coup d'etat, but we (the government) are obliged to ensure peace ... and how to ensure peace is that the masterminds (to the conspiracy) know that there are people willing to go out on the street."

Venezuela is facing the most difficult period of its history with honest reporters crippled by sectarianism on top of rampant corruption within the administration and beyond, aided and abetted by criminal forces in the US and Spanish governments which cannot accept the sovereignty of the Venezuelan people to decide over their own future.
