VHeadline Venezuela News reports: It's part of a project introduced by visiting Ecuadorean Ambassador, Blanca Quiroz Ugarte, who is to give instructions and donate a number of ice-cream making appliances in El Callao and Tumeremo.
The ambassador says training will be given in the production of ice-cream from powdered milk and local tropical fruits that are easily found in southern Sifontes municipality. "With a kilo (2.2 pounds) of powdered milk, we can make up to thirty pounds of fruit ice cream. The preparation only needs a hand-held blender, natural stabilizers and emulsifiers ... the rest is up to the individual taste of those who prepare it.
- The next ice-cream making course is to be held at the Masonic Lodge in Tumeremo on at 2:00 p.m. on Friday (September 26) and in El Callao on Saturday (27th).
Interested parties have been advised to call an information line on 0416-331.79.13 and/or 0414-886.87.92 or visit the Ambassador's webpage http://www.blancaugartequiroz.com/ to view courses which include instruction, ingredients, cookbooks, certificates and a post-training course.
