Venezuela Will Go On, Chavez

Venezuela will keep its development program intact in spite of the price of the oil dropping to seven dollars a barrel, said Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
'This Revolution will defend itself. We are ready to overcome whatever it comes, and resist the worst circumstances,' said the Venezuelan President Friday during an activity to open the first unit of a plant called 'Termozulia 2' in Maracaibo, Venezuelan state of Zulia. Chavez criticized the opposition sectors that constantly bet on the fall of the value of oil to put an end to the revolutionary process. 'Let them say what they will, but this government won't fall,' Chavez underlined. 'If the price of the barrel of oil is at seven dollars again, we will keep on going ahead, we will take it as a challenge,' he concluded.
