Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza spent time visiting HIV-AIDS patients at Jakarta's Suliyanti Saroso Hospital

Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza spent time visiting HIV-AIDS patients at Jakarta's Suliyanti Saroso Hospital on Saturday as part of her 10-day tour of Indonesia.
Mendoza, 22, appeared with Miss Indonesia 2008 Zivana Latisha Siregar to chat with patients at the hospital in North Jakarta, as reported by detik.com. 'I am happy to be here,' she said of the hospital visit. Mendoza, a 178-centimeter tall, green-eyed beauty who enjoys learning languages and photography, beat 27 other candidates to win Miss Venezuela 2007 on Sept. 13, 2007. She became the second woman representing the Amazonas state to win the Miss Universe crown. Indonesia is the first country Mendoza has visited since being crowned Miss Universe 2008 at the pageant final in Nha Trang, Vietnam, on July 13. On Sunday, Mendoza flew to Bali where she continued her tour of the country before leaving for New York on Monday.
