Gold investors Glen Clark and Don Mackey are scheduled to discuss the latest developments in Venezuela's gold mining industry

VHeadline Venezuela News reports: Gold investors Glen Clark and Don Mackey are scheduled to discuss the latest developments in Venezuela's gold mining industry on Friday's edition of the VHeadline Venezuela Newshour to be broadcast internationally on the American Voice Radio Network (AVRN) at 10.00 a.m. Pacific (1.00 p.m. New York) on Friday, August 29.

At issue is the imminent issuance of the final EIS permit for Crystallex International (KRY) to start-up operations at the 100% Venezuela-owned Las Cristinas gold mine under its exclusive contract with state-owned Venezuelan Guayana Corporation (CVG). The Environment Ministry (MinAmb) has signaled Crystallex' full compliance with all points previously raised by the Ministry and no further objections have been raised to the full and final permitting.

The program will also discuss the latest developments with regard to the Agapov Gorup's Rusoro Mining's alleged US$90,000,000 offer to take over a Gold Reserve (GRZ) claim to a "concession" at nearby Las Brisas del Cuyuni which gas remained paralyzed since the middle of may when the Environment Minister (MinAmb) Yubiri Ortega de Carrizales shocked the investment work in a tangental claim that she would halt all mining operations in resource-rich Venezuela.

Gold Reserve has already said it had discussed (and rejected?) a government proposal to joint-venture Las Brisas and Las Cristinas ... but is this yet another flight of fantasy on the part of GRZ' redoubtable Belanger/Timm executive combo or is it the end-game for the US-Spokane-based gold seeker's on/off ambitions in Venezuela?

VHeadline Venezuela Newshour will explore these eventualities on Friday's show to be broadcast live at 1.00 p.m. New York time on the American Voice Radio Network (AVRN) across America and around the world. You can monitor today's show on the Internet as well...
