Venezuela offers $365 mln for food, medical aid

Venezuela's leftist President Hugo Chavez on Thursday offered to spend $365 million of the OPEC nation's oil income each year on a fund to help poor countries buy food and medicine. He called on European and Latin American nations to contribute to the fund.
