Terrorists protected by the United States denounced in Venezuela

Former Venezuelan Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel said that notorious terrorist Luis Posada Carriles enjoys special status in Miami and has bodyguards provided by the authorities. During his weekly television program called Jose Vicente Today, Rangel said that the Cuban-born criminal freely travels around Miami and constantly participates in meetings with Cuban exile groups and other rightwing US extremists. Rangel said that Posada Carriles, who escaped from a Venezuelan jail to avoid trial for the bombing of a civilian Cuban airplane in 1976 that killed 73 persons, is always accompanied by his Venezuelan associate Francisco (Paco) Pimentel.
