Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro travels on Tuesday to Cuba for an official visit at the invitation of his Cuban counterpart, Felipe Perez Roque. According to Granma news daily, Maduro heads the Venezuelan delegation that will participate in the 12th Meeting of the Cuba-Venezuela Mechanism of Political Consultation. This visit will contribute to the strengthening of the existing fraternal ties between the two nations and it will allow the foreign ministries of both countries to consolidate their dialogue and coordination. During his stay in Cuba, Maduro will carry out an extensive program that includes official talks with Perez Roque and meetings with other Cuban authorities.
