Venezuela Sending 108 to Olympics

Venezuela has qualified 108 athletes for the Beijing Olympic Games in August, informed President Hugo Chavez. This is another Revolutionary achievement, stressed the leader when addressing the candidates of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela from the state of Falcon to the November 23 regional elections. The 108 Venezuelans entitled to participate in the Olympics doubles the usual number for this kind of events. Venezuela is, after Brazil, Cuba and Argentina, the fourth Latin American country with the largest delegation to the Olympic Games.
