Opposition party rejects Chávez's foreign policy
Luis Solórzano, the Secretary General of opposition Venezuelan Christian Democrat Party Copei, claimed President Hugo Chávez is handling Venezuela's foreign policy as if it were a private matter. 'The Venezuelan president handles foreign policy as if it were a private business. However, international affairs should matter to all Venezuelan citizens.' 'There is no consistency between the President's speech and his actions. The question is in whose hands is the fate of our foreign policy? Solórzano wondered.
