The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Nicolás Maduro, who attended to the XV Non Aligned Movement (NAM) Ministerial Meeting, expressed the support of Venezuela to build a multipolar world based on justice. “We fully share the concept of the NAM, most of all its goal of moving towards a multilateral world, but based on respect to international laws, transformation of the United nations (UN), and such transformation would be the expression of a new world”, Maduro stated during the Meeting that is taking place in Tehran, Iran. According to a press release emitted by the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Naduro made emphasis on member countries' necessity to end the hegemony of some nations imposing their political domination through weapons. “We need an era without empires, without hegemonies, without the use of force to gain control over natural resources and the wealth of our nations”, he stated.
