The third governmental session between officials from Bulgaria and Venezuela for trade, economic, manufacturing, cultural and scientific co-operation will be held in Sofia, December 1-2.
The Bulgarian side will be represented during the two-day meeting by Deputy Transport Minister Vesela Gospodinova, who will also head the commission. The delegation from Venezuela will be led by deputy foreign minister Alexandro Flemming Cabrera.
The session will be inaugurated on December 1 in the Ministry of Transport by the Bulgarian and Venezuelan deputy ministers. Immediately after that the two countries will sign an official contract for mutual tourist assistance. The conference will end on December 2 with the signing of a protocol.
The conference will aim to investigate the potential of expanding mutual co-operation between Bulgaria and Venezuela in the spheres of agriculture, science, industry, tourism, justice, education, information technology, manufacturing and scientific development.
Regarding transportation, both countries will discuss the perspectives for developing Bulgarian and Venezuelan sea ports. A programme is in the pipeline for the development of a mutual assistance plan for commercial sea-faring between both countries."
