While, over the course of my last 45 years in journalism, I have become used to this sort of crap over the long term, but the current security situation has been judged (also by security professionals) to be so serious as to warrant extra special precautions to secure my physical safety at the location where I live and from which I manage the editorial content of VHeadline's English and Spanish editions.
I would remind you that this situation comes as a result of our honest endeavors to bring the truth about what is happening in Venezuela and how it may affect YOUR day-to-day interests in one way or another. We receive NO funding from the Venezuela government and our access to funding from other sources has been very strictly embargoed by various organizations (internationally as well as in Venezuela) which have wished to control the flow of our information in one form or another to the dictate of their own nefarious interests.
