Betting On Miss Universe - Will We See A Pageant Shocker

Miss Venezuela - - BetUS odds 5/1 - - Sure, she’s the chalk, but this thing could get political and what would stick it to the U.S. more then taking Hugo Chavez’s gal? The U.S. doesn’t have a whole lot of friends out there right now and even though this is Miss Universe, make no mistake, it’s a U.S. production. My gut tells me that even though she’s not the prettiest and I doubt she could ever come up with a word like “canalize” in her life, she has a legit shot to win. Anything less then a top three placing would really surprise me.
