Bomb scare forces evacuation of Caracas-Madrid flight
A bomb scare forced the evacuation of a Spain-bound passenger plane at Caracas airport on Monday, after officials received a telephone tip that one of the passengers had an explosive device. The alert was called off after the 'Air Europa' flight, with 258 passengers on board, was moved to a different part of the airport, the passengers disembarked and their luggage subjected to a thorough search. 'No explosive was found,' Julio Fernandez, the director of communications for the privately owned Spanish airline said in Madrid.
