The United States' would-be ally Georgia in general retreat on all fronts!

VHeadline commentarist Kenneth T. Tellis writes: As of yesterday the Georgian forces of U.S. puppet Mikheil Saakashvili are in full retreat along all fronts in South Ossetia. The army of the South Ossetian Republic and the Russian forces that came to their timely aid have driven out the US-trained and equipped Georgian army. This is personal blow for U.S. strongman George W. Bush, who thought that he would pull a fast one, by having Georgia invade South Ossetia on the day the Olympic Games began.

The Georgian forces are now claiming that they were ordered to withdraw by their government, but this should be seen for what it really is, a defeat by the Russo-South Ossetian forces, being made to look as a voluntary withdrawal.

• Note here that almost the same methods were used as in the US Forces invasion of Ecuador on March 1, 2008.

Talk of peace and advance war by stealth is the American way. Notice the same spiel is being used here as in the Gulf of Tonkin Incident in August 1964. Attack another country and then blame it for attacking you. Everyone knew that Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili would do the US bidding and invade South Ossetia, but now Georgia falsely accuses Russia of invading it.

Perhaps this is the beginning of the end for the US imperialists. For years they called the shots in Latin America, Asia and Europe and now they are unraveling. This will be considered the greatest achievement of President George W. Bush’s career, if one can call it that. But, the joke was on the Americans who thought that Russia was a weak country and they could walk all over them.

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

All America’s well laid plans have come unglued and there is egg on the faces of those who misjudged the Russians.
