Kenneth T. Tellis: A long desired move to the reality of Latin America today

Is it not time for Latin American nations to move the OAS (Organization of American States) to some national capital in Latin America?

But, at the same time also work for not just a name change, but clearly define the role of the organization. Say the formation of the OAS into OLAS (Organization of Latin American States), this would once an for all, remove the power the U.S. has on the OAS and at the same time clip its wings.

The revolution for Latin American freedom must begin by Latin America distancing itself from U.S. power and control.

This can only be done by the formation of OLAS immediately.

And from this will come the fulfillment of Simon Bolivar's dream.
