University students prepare internal referendum on indefinite reelection

The Executive Committee of the University Student Council, Central University of Venezuela (UCV), called the students for next Thursday, January 29th, to take part in a referendum on the amendment to the Constitution for indefinite reelection. Ricardo Sánchez, the chair of the University Student Council, said that the query will also ask students whether they agree with indefinite reelection for student leadership, in order to set an example of participation in decision making. Therefore, the question will be: "Do you agree with indefinite reelection for elected public office, including student representatives? Yes or No?
