President Hugo Chavez will name Jose Rivas, a low-profile central bank director, Venezuela's new economy minister as the OPEC nation faces rampant inflation and slowing growth, local newspaper El Nacional reported on Wednesday. A source familiar with the decision-making process also told Reuters that Rivas was 'almost certainly' Chavez's choice to replace Rafael Isea, who will leave the post to run for regional elected office later this year.
