Venezuala denies PDVSA assets frozen after ExxonMobil wins court order

The Venezuelan government denied that state oil company PDVSA had 12 bln usd worth of assets frozen in a court order obtained by ExxonMobil.
Energy minister Rafael Ramirez told a press conference: 'The assets have not been frozen, it's wrong. We have not been informed of a definite decision.'
Earlier today, ExxonMobil said it has won a court order freezing 12 bln usd in worldwide assets of PDVSA as part of its battle for compensation over Caracas's nationalization of key oil fields. It said the High Court in London had granted its request to freeze the assets.
