One result of Venezuela's highly transparent election process is that Venezuelans have the highest level of government approval and confidence in all of Latin America, and 60 percent of Venezuelans (second only to Uruguay) report that they are satisfied with the way democracy works in their country, according to Latinobarometro, a non-profit, non-governmental polling agency in South America.
