China and Venezuela deposited $6 billion in a joint development fund

China and Venezuela deposited $6 billion in a joint development fund the two countries created in November, President Hugo Chavez said Thursday. The fund received $4 billion in financing from China and $2 billion from Venezuela, Chavez said in televised remarks. 'They deposited yesterday $4 billion and we deposited $2 billion,' the president said. Chavez didn't give more details on the fund.
