Venezuela earns first berth to Little League WS

A team from Maracaibo, Venezuela earned the first berth to this year's Little League World Series. The Coquivacoa Little League will come to South Williamsport as Latin America Region champions after beating another squad from Venezuela. The Coquivacoa league won the World Series crown in 1994. A total of 16 teams from around the world will play in the World Series, which begins Aug. 15.
