Voters in multiple polling stations complained about the appearance of motorcades in favor of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) despite the rules imposed by the National Electoral Council (CNE) and banning of advertising. In eastern Caracas, buses posted PSUV placards and reached voting centers, inviting them to vote pro-government candidates. The vehicles were being used to carry voters from neighboring barrios. Around 9:00 a.m., in Guatire, central Miranda state, PSUV followers set up canopies filled with political propaganda. The people standing in a queue complained and the troops responsible for protection ordered them to move about two or three blocs farther.
