President Hugo Chavez Frias visits Bolivar State this Saturday afternoon to rally support ahead of November 23 elections

President Hugo Chavez Frias will visit southeastern Bolivar State this Saturday afternoon to meet military commanders and the attend a rally of United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) youth activists.


The first meeting is scheduled to take place at 2.00 p.m. with the commanders of the Guri military regions and the President will then travel to Caruachi to chair a plenary session of the PSUV Youth Communications Congress.

Further details of the itinerary have not been made available but local media speculate that the President aims to explain the current military-political situation in Venezuela to rally party support ahead of regional elections in November.

PSUV Guayana regional executives and State Governor Francisco Rangel Gomez will accompany the President as well as PSUV candidates for municipalities, mayorships and the local government team.
