Venezuela: Crystallex VP says a formal press release advising of receipt of the EIS permit will be the first that ANYONE will really know!

VHeadline Venezuela News reports: In an email received by VHeadline this Thursday morning, September 11, Crystallex International's vice president of investor relations, A. Richard Marshall said: "I doubt that anyone will really know when it (the EIS -- environmental permit) is finally issued other than a formal press release from the Company advising of receipt. Until then all the pundits will continue to speculate on timing and reasons why it will or won't be issued. I believe it will happen!"

  1. Unless Venezuelan officials are taking very special precautions, it is absurd to think that nobody will know about the permit until it is press released. In recent developments, it was very clear by looking at trading volume that somebody knew what was happening before it was announced. MinAmb, MIBAM, CVG, and KRY personnel and their friends will all know about it hours before it's made public.

  2. 1. Hugo Chavez personally told Ortega and Minamb to get the permitting process back on track.

    2. Ortega has been releived of here duties and has passed the permitting duties on to Merly Garcia.

    3. Merly Garcia / Minamb has completed a On Site inspection and it went well.

    4. Minamb has recinded the Ortega decree that no mining can occur in KM88.

    5. TO save face Minamb put in 3 more "footprint" revisions before they announce the permit.

    6. Richard Fung & co have stated everything on KRY's part have been done, including the 3 revisions, and have been accepted & approved by Minamb.

    7. Now Richard Marshall says he beleives KRY will get the permit. IMO this is a very bullish statement. Up to know Richard has not stated his opinion this clearly.
