Venezuela-U.S. standoff could turn in to a stalemate

Hugo Chavez is threatening to cut off oil exports to the United States if Exxon-Mobil moves ahead with plans to freeze Venezuelan assets in various parts of the world. But Venezuela needs the U.S. market as much as the U.S. needs the oil, so the standoff could turn in to a stalemate.

  1. The hubris and hypocrisy of the ruling-class is breathtaking.

    Here's the deal. Here is what is going to go down: the massed people of the entire planet are going to seize every blessed penny the ruling-class has every stolen from them. Which includes every cubic centimeter of property these rich bastards now hold -- all of which was stolen from the people of the world over the past centuries.
