World oil prices rose on Monday when worries over supplies overshadowed growing concerns that a possible US recession could dent demand from the world's biggest energy consumer, traders said. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in March, won 65 cents to 96.15 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for April delivery gained 40 cents to 95.03 dollars.
