Gold surged higher again on Monday in early U.S. trading and touched a 10-day high

Gold surged higher again on Monday in early U.S. trading and touched a 10-day high. April gold closed at $926.70, up $4.40 on the session. The metal reached as high as $931.00 in electronic trading, compared to the record high of $942.20 from late last month. Bullion moved higher in early trading on Friday, adding to a recent rally in U.S. trading. April gold moved to $917.50, up $7.50 on the session. Gold is up for a third straight day and reached a weekly intraday high of $920.80 earlier in the morning.
