Venezuelans are qualified, trained, tough, and ready to face any attack from the US empire against our country
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolás Maduro Monday said 'Venezuelans are qualified, trained, tough, and ready to face any attack from the US empire against our country during the last few months President George W. Bush's administration has left.' Maduro's comments were quoted by a press release published by his office. When asked about an impasse with US oil major Exxon Mobil, the diplomat said the reason behind the clash was the fact that Venezuela over the last few years had undertook to rescue domestic interests. 'Exxon is making attempts at harming our interests. They have failed to accomplish their goal and will continue to fail. Venezuelans should be aware and show a strong willingness to face this, putting an end to more than 100 years of oil colonialism is not easy.'
