Spain's king to meet Venezuela's Chavez for first time since 'shut up' incident

The Spanish government says King Juan Carlos will meet Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez next week.
It is the first meeting planned between the two since Spain's head of state told Chavez to «shut up» at a summit in Chile in November. A government spokesman says Chavez will visit Spain's Balearic island of Mallorca on July 25 and hold a working breakfast with Juan Carlos. Chavez will then fly to Madrid to meet Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero about political, economic and bilateral issues. The trip is part of a six-nation tour also including Bolivia, Nicaragua, Russia, Belarus and Portugal. The spokesman on Friday told the AP about the trip on condition of anonymity in keeping with government rules.
