Duno back after 11th-place finish last year

Milka Duno, the only woman driver to finish the 92nd Indianapolis 500, has been added to the IndyCar Series field for the Bombardier Learjet 550k Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway. Duno, driver of the No. 23 Citgo Dallara/Honda fielded by Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, finished 19th at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after completing 185 of the scheduled 200 laps. That was higher than Danica Patrick (22nd) of Andretti Green Racing and owner/driver Sarah Fisher (30th). Duno started 19th and finished 11th in her first appearance on TMS' 1.5-mile quadoval last year. A native of Venezuela, Duno will be making her fourth start in the season's first seven events. 'Milka is responding very well to the team and is committed to learning all she can,' team co-owner Robbie Buhl said in a statement. 'We have a solid race car for Texas and know that Milka is on her way to becoming a very successful race car driver.'
