EPS Minera Nacional to be in charge of the rational, sustainable use of minerals, with a special emphasis on gold and diamonds

EPS Minera Nacional C.A (national mining company): based in Caracas, this company shall be in charge of the rational, sustainable use of minerals, with a special emphasis on gold and diamonds. Its functions shall encompass the processing and industrialization of the resources as well as their commercialization within and out of the country. By means of Coniba, the government aspires to achieve the systematic export of natural resources, raw materials and basic products. In this way, it seeks to abandon the producing model of raw materials and supply itself with the necessary goods to attain the nation’s industrial development.
